We awakened to such a beautiful sky. The fact that we can see something other than white is truly amazing. The roads of Grey-Bruce have been closed more than they have been open for the past five days. Whiteouts have kept us close to home. We have crawled up into our back yard after shovelling a trench to it.
O happy day…until the winds pick up later today!
Snow has turned our screen to lace, sculpted fresh snow scapes, drifted new challenges in driveways and roads, stopped all school buses, delighted students.
As we sit in our blizzard world with roads closed, we watch the seven day forecasts for Owen Sound, Toronto, Buffalo, New York, wondering how much the forecasts will change in the next seven days. Hoping they will change, or we have to figure out what happens if we miss our Buffalo flight and set off a chain reaction of missed flights. Sigh!
We believe forecasts are often wrong. We hope these are.
